I have a hardcover and ebook photo dog book for sale with 100% of the profits ($50 per book for both) benefiting animal shelters across the country. I'm signing up shelters to benefit. At this point, we have 8 and looking for more. Here's an ABC new story to give more detail.
Pass this on to others.
I am way behind in posting 1,000 images from all over the country over the past few months. I'll try to catch up with this first image. Click on image for more images. I went to Duke Chapel to get some images from the Blessing of the animals service. I thought these two dogs were having a great time with each other. I wonder what the Beagle is thinking? What would the caption be for this first image.
When I was on my 4,600 mile cross country trip, I finished my trip in Powell Butte, Oregon at my sister's house. She had a neighbor who asked if I'd take some pictures of her grand daughter and her new puppy - a chocolate lab. How can you say no to that!
I visited an Oregon farm close to my sister's house in Oregon. The owners had three dogs, on a working dog. I was able to get images of a couple of the dogs in their tractor as well as one of the dogs working with some cattle.
I added three dogs to the project over day 1 and day 2 of my trip. On day 1, I added 2 Bernese Mountain dogs owned by our long time friends Caroline and Don Paige. Don and Carolina rescue Berners. At one time, they had 8!! Unfortunately, these big dogs have a short life span.
On day 2, a young couple pulled up behind me at a rest stop with a 15 week old black lab. They were from Fayetteville, AR.
