When I was on my 4,600 mile cross country trip, I finished my trip in Powell Butte, Oregon at my sister's house. She had a neighbor who asked if I'd take some pictures of her grand daughter and her new puppy - a chocolate lab. How can you say no to that!
I visited an Oregon farm close to my sister's house in Oregon. The owners had three dogs, on a working dog. I was able to get images of a couple of the dogs in their tractor as well as one of the dogs working with some cattle.
I added three dogs to the project over day 1 and day 2 of my trip. On day 1, I added 2 Bernese Mountain dogs owned by our long time friends Caroline and Don Paige. Don and Carolina rescue Berners. At one time, they had 8!! Unfortunately, these big dogs have a short life span.
On day 2, a young couple pulled up behind me at a rest stop with a 15 week old black lab. They were from Fayetteville, AR.
We had visitors at the pool - Zena and Zelda with Abby. They had a great time in and around the water.
I was visiting the North Paw animal Hospital to discuss a project we might be doing with them for the Durham APS. Kendall was waiting to see a doctor for Wizzy. Kendall just got Wizzy from a breeder and was concerned about the cough. Wizzy is only about a year old. Get better Wizzy.
